Ok, I went and saw V for Vendetta last night. It....was....AWESOME. Great movie. Great great great movie. So great I just -had- to do a piece of fanart. But come on, V's mask is so fucking cool looking...it's hard -not- to want to draw it! So anyway, I came up with this after 10 or more hours in photoshop. Easily the hardest piece of done digitially so far, except for maybe a few costume manipulations I don't have in this gallery. I'm quite please with the results, though.

Hand drawn, colored/detailed/the majority of work done in PS 7.

V for Vendetta is owned by DC/Vertigo, and is, obviously, in no way a creation of my own. Sadly. Because V rocks!

Isn't it grand? I went to see it Saturday... It easily topped as my favorite movie, so far (as you can probably tell ^_^). I think I annoyed because every few minutes, toward the end, I kept going "Take of the mask, take off the mask!" Sadly, he never did :*(
But, it was still a wonderful movie, and you did a grand job. :thumbsup: :+fav:

I loooooooooooooved the movie. omg. I honestly hadn't expected to like it so much, but after it was over I was just staring at the screen thinking "damn. Daaaaaaaaaaamn! That rocked!"


I'm kinda glad he didn't take off the mask, actually. Because....well, he pretty much looks like Deadpool under there. *L*

Aye... Jess had to poke me to get me to get up so we could leave.

I sort of didn't want him to take the mask on after it was over... Jess pointed out how his hands looked, then, yeah... *shudders*
